Adam suggesstions:
CTM used to use SVN as a version control system.
This SVN repository was trashed during migration. (clearly noone intended for the drupal site to ever move)
This was clunky and over the top for the requirements of the system.
I suggest using GIT instead; to store the system critical files externally,
rather than having the repository on one of our servers (as was previously the case).
This will allow the dev and live sites to be migrated easily in the future, and can serve as a maintainable backup with a pretty GUI.
